The operator of this Memegram service ("we") runs Memegram. This page explains, in plain language, what data the service handles and why. It describes how the software works; it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.
Public blockchain information
You sign in with a Solana wallet. Your wallet address is public on the Solana blockchain, and Memegram shows it on your profile. Memegram reads public on-chain data about your wallet (token balances, prices, transactions after you join, and a one-time scan of up to the latest 10,000 transactions from before you joined) to calculate your trading PnL and your PnL since joining Memegram, which are shown publicly next to your name. We cannot change or delete anything on the blockchain.
What you share on Memegram
- Your optional profile: username, display name, bio, website and profile photo.
- Posts (images, captions, alt text), comments, likes, follows and reports.
- Saved posts, which are private to you.
Posts, comments, likes, follows and profiles are public. Photos are re-encoded in your browser before upload, which removes embedded location and camera metadata.
Operational data we keep private
- Session records (a hashed session token, your browser's user agent, and timestamps) to keep you signed in securely.
- Short-lived sign-in challenges used to verify wallet ownership.
- Moderation records, including private moderator notes.
- Security logs used to operate and protect the service. We do not publish IP addresses or session data.
Our servers never receive or store seed phrases or private keys. Signing in never sends a transaction.
Service providers
Memegram runs on infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: application hosting and media storage (Vercel), the database (Neon), rate limiting (Upstash) and blockchain data (Helius). Error monitoring may be enabled for reliability.
Cookies and local storage
We use one essential, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. Your device may remember your recent searches locally; you can clear them at any time. If you create a Memegram wallet, its secret key is created and kept only in your browser's local storage; it is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it. We do not use advertising trackers.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in Settings. This removes your profile details, posts and their images, comments, likes, follows, saved posts, notifications and sessions from Memegram. Your wallet record and PnL baseline are kept so that reconnecting the same wallet cannot reset its PnL; public blockchain history cannot be erased by anyone.
